Home Sitemap Imprint Argos Deutschland GmbH The HummelEnergie Systeme GmbH and the HummelEnergie Systeme  Service und Handel GmbH were established in May 2007, each being a  100% subsidiary of Argos Deutschland GmbH. Today the Argos  Deutschland Group employs around 20 members of staff. The  headquarters of both companies are based in Neuss, North-Rhine  Westphalia. Argos Groep B.V. The Argos Deutschland GmbH was also established in May 2007 as a  German Joint Venture of the Dutch partner-group Argos Groep B.V. The  Argos Groep, based in Rotterdam, is one of the major Dutch  independent oil companies, which deals with the trade and storage of  (bio-) fuels and operates its own petrol stations (including biofuels and  autogas). Furthermore, the large-scale production of bio-diesel was  commissioned in the year 2009. With around 500 employees the  company achieved an annual turnover of approximately 1.5 billion Euro  in 2009. HummelEnergie Systeme GmbH und  HummelEnergie Systeme Service & Handel GmbH Both act as operative companies within the Argos Deutschland GmbH on  the company grounds in Neuss (approx. 11,400 m²). They deal with the  generation of heat and power by means of cogeneration plants, the  project development in this area, and engineering efforts concerning the  development, control and maintenance of combined heat and power  (CHP) plants.  BFZ BiomasseForschungsZentrum Neuss GmbH The BFZ BiomasseForschungsZentrum Neuss  GmbH was established  in October 2008 and deals with the research and development of fuels  from both solid and liquid biomass. In cooperation with a Swabian plant  construction firm and a leading Austrian scientist in the field of solid and  gaseous biomass research, the BFZ will lay the foundations for the  industrial production of biofuels from agricultural waste products in the  years to come.
